We bought our son a bike and had constant problems with it after the first 3 months. The chain kept constantly falling off and resulted a few crashes, the chain guard at the front fell off and the brake levers are warped out of shape. There are clear quality control issues. The store were emailed and agreed to repair the bike. After we took it in they stated that because it had crash damage they would not do anything under warranty and would charge for repair. Not acceptable, especially for a company this size. I buy a lot of stuff from Decathlon, most are great products. Buy one of these bikes at your own peril.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your experience with this bike. I'm sorry to read that you had recurring issues with your chain. We offer free checkups during the first three months in all of our store to aid with gear adjustment etc...
