Tells the time well and can be used in the shower.
I don't routinely wear a watch and I only use this for swimming. It's unattractive and won't last for ever but it does the job and it's very cheap so I'm happy with it. This is the second of this kind I've had.
Today I bought this watch and in the dark I found out that the watch does not have any backlight. I can still recommend this watch.
Superior (i.e. readable at a glance!) to the very expensive analogue 'sports' watch bought for me at Christmas by one's spouse at one's son's recommendation.
Only paid a fiver for the watch as a cheep make do for holiday. Really impressed does exactly what it says on the tin!
KALENJI W100 MEN'S RUNNING STOPWATCH - BLACK
Although listed as a running watch, it is also described as suitable for swimming, which is what I bought it for.
To quote the site.... "Watch waterproof up to 5 atm (50 m) and button can be used under water for surface swimming"
This watch has large easy to read digits, tells the time and has a stop watch function, just the right amount of simple functionality for swimming,
The two buttons are easy to identify by feel whilst under water, making it very easy to operate.
You can pause it when you stop with a single button press, which then makes the display flash. This makes it really easy to identify that it's paused whilst it's underwater, especially if you usually wear glasses for reading and can't see the digits clearly.
The strap is comfortable and has a standard "pin and hole" fastening method, plus an end notch to secure the strap end to stop it flapping around while swimming (or running).
I would highly recommend this watch for its simplicity and clear display. At less than a fiver it's a real bargain.
You've come to the reviews because, like me, you're thinking: it's probably poorly made crap. It isn't. Take a punt, you won't be sorry.
It's simple and clear. It's well constructed and the buttons work as they should. The face is clutter free and the time digits are large and easily legible. It's become my main watch.
Most folk want a sports watch to do simple tasks ie record time.
There's rarely a need to figure out laps, km speed, average speed, or any other of 500 tasks.
For this watch you don't need a degree in electronics nor a mortgage from the local money lender.
This watch does what it says, it tells the time and records as a stopwatch.
Well worth it.
