Bought the bottle for my daughter
On the first day noticed that her bag was wet.., maybe I didn’t tighten it enough I thought but no
If you turn the bottle upside down it’s fine but if you lay it down it starts dripping
There is a little gadget inside to let air when you drink and it lets water out when the bottle is in horizontal position
It’s a shame because we like the design of it but now it’s no use and we can’t get a refund because we leave too far from the store and we bought it on a trip
Well made, one hand operating cycling bottle, better and significantly cheaper than its more famous rival.
Wanted a day bottle for camp and purchased this. The bottle is sturdy and easy to fill (but not the easiest to wash). The first use was with cool water and every time I opened the bottle it leaked out (presumably as the bottle warmed the air expands and pushes the.fluid up the pipette.) I can't use for cool drinks without opening the top each time. The bottle I have also sounds like a seal with laryngitis every time I drink from it. Tried various things to fix but no luck and now take the top off to drink. Generally not worth it for the hassle.
Quality materials, nice-looking design and a resonable price. All good right? Sadly not. The internal straw sucks up water a bit *too* efficiently, so as soon as the quick-release cap breaks the seal then there's the danger of a huge spurt of water hitting you in the face. I tend to stick a vitamin pill in my gym water, and the resulting effervescent pressure created so much spurtage that I had to spend the next 10 minutes mopping it all up. It's fine if you take the straw out and use it in traditional tip-your-head-back style, but there are better bottles for that. Could do better.
