I bought these as an upgrade from my first pair of runners having taken up running a couple of years ago. The fit and comfort were immediately apparent and required virtually no breaking in. I wore them around the house for a couple of hours and did the Great North Run a couple of days later! Completely pain free and feeling great. Subsequently they have seen me through training for and running in the Manchester Half Marathon and they are now carrying me through training for the full Manchester Marathon. I will replace these with the same shoes again in the near future and couldn't imagine using anything else now. I hadn't even mentioned the bargain price as they are much more than just a budget alternative - they are the real deal!
Just had these as a Christmas present. Two runs in and so impressed. Great cushioning but still light weight. Good for me but not sure if it would suit the heavier runner with gate problems
Hello decathlon The shoe literally wounded the bottom part of my foot. I ran almost 20 minutes with it and there are tears in both my feet. There is a part in the bottom that is very hard as if there is a nail from both sides, it is not a soft lining or cushioning that protects the feet or even makes the user feel comfortable.
It is a very bad choice at it is not worth the money investment at all.
Thank you for taking the time to write to us about this Running Shoes.

Didn't know what to expect when buy my first running shoes from decathlon, maybe some Nike or addidas on the cheep. However after having my gaet measured they suggested the kirprun long, reasnably priced and above all comfy and supportive.
very springy sole, good for running on tracks, paths and roads. Laces snag on things when I trail run. Comfortable and didn't need breaking in.
I'm very impressed with these shoes. I always replace my running shoe insoles with Sorbothane insoles so no issues with the Kalenji insoles. All in all very comfortable distance shoes. I do about 40 miles a week and have had no issues whatsoever. The only reason i haven't given 5 stars is that the soles are worn out after 6 months, I'd have hoped for longer - a longer lasting sole would make these shoes perfect. I'll be getting another pair anyway.
I have used a lot of Decathlon kit but these are the first running shoes I have tried and on this experience I would not go for their shoes again. THe sole is very thick and lacks any road feel. Fine if that leads to a plush ride but it does not. I am not sure if it is the shape or the lack of flex but they are very clumpy and make you feel really heavy on your feet. The shoe does not hold the foot well and you slip forward during descents and your toe feels the front of the shoe. All in all poor design. I continue to love their clothes but will not be back for running shoes.

They felt comfortable enough in the shop but after 1.5 Miles into my first use of them I felt friction on the right foot arch. The design of the shoe has a prominent arch but the extreme edge of the insole is not flush against the shoe wall, meaning it was ‘digging in’ to my foot. After 2 Miles I
Abandoned the run and limped home to treat blister. Decathlon then refused to refund me because I had used the shoes. I pointed out that it was only after using them for the first time that they caused an injury. How was I to know unless I used them? Decathlon still refused so basically I’m down £60 with a faulty shoe and will have to spend more money on an alternative
Thanks for your feedback.

Having used Brooks in the past I must say I am very impressed with these trainers. I do take support Trainers
Don't do any running but must walk miles everyday.......... bought these as having really bad heel pain on one foot. These gave really good support and the problem completely cleared up in a few days. Must be the most comfy trainers I've ever had.......... also the most expensive as I've usually gone for £20 ones which I now realise were rubbish. They also come in half sizes so I was able to get a really good fit + they did up nice and tight on my very narrow feet. Like them so much I might get a blue pair to go with my eyes!!
