THE BAG IN DETAIL
This hydration backpack has a 3L volume.
Its semi-rigid flask can carry 1L of water for short mountain biking rides.
To hold it securely in place the MTB ST 100 hydration backpack has two adjustable shoulder straps and a waist strap.
The bag is light and has a padded back to make it very comfortable to carry.
The feeling of comfort is enhanced by the breathability of the back and shoulder straps, which are made from mesh (breathable fabric).
WHAT ABOUT THE WATER BLADDER?
The water bladder designed by our teams was inspired by flasks.
This semi-rigid flask, which you can access from the bottom of the bag, has a screw cap to close it by hand.
The flask has markings so you can fill it to the right level.
Unlike standard water bladders (thermobonded, the walls are separated and help any remaining water drain (from top to bottom) out at the end.
This means no water remaining in the flask, so no odours.
AN EASY-TO-USE BITE VALVE
The ST 100 hydration backpack's bite valve has been designed so you can open and close it with one hand by simply rotating it. Simply bite on it and turn it 180°. Clever!
CARRY ALL YOUR THINGS
Access the main compartment from the top or bottom. The water bladder (flask) hangs off a hook.
You can fit a few average-sized items in the bag (e.g. puncture repair spray).
Your keys and phone go in a separate zipped compartment.
Your keys hang off a rip-tab so that they won't scratch your phone.
Clever: an elasticated strap on the outside allows you to attach a light jacket (which avoids the need to tie it around your waist! ;-))
Care tips
For hygiene reasons, we recommend cleaning your flask after each use.
To help you clean out the tube, you can order a special brush using product ref. 5935596.
This kit comes with a hanger to make it easier to dry out the inside of the bladder.
Tip: If you don't want your drink to taste like plastic, wash the flask, dry it well, and place it in your freezer.
Take it out a few hours before your ride. This will stop any flavour transfer.
