I bought this for my 14 year old grandson to replace one he has outgrown. It was easy to put together - just the pedals to fit and handlebars to straighten. My grandson loves it! The gears are easy to use and the saddle height easy to adjust.
The only slight problem is that the screw to adjust the forward/backward position of the saddle won't unlock - hence 4 stars instead of 5. Fortunately the position is ok for my grandson, though it would have been perfect slightly further forward.
Great bike and good value for money just need a more comfortable seat but I think that’s a lot off bikes now days
Dosent matter if my gears are working all good my chain keeps jumping and the chain derails
When i first got this bike i was amazed at the cheap price despite all the things you get. After a couple of months however the brakes started to squeal awfully apparently because of the painted rims. To make things worse the derailleur is bolted to the frame and not to a piece of metal like all other bikes. This wouldnt be a problem but my frame has cracked for some weird reason and has caused it to bend making the bike practically impossible to ride! Hopefully someone from Decathlon will see this review and would be able to help me as I am aware the frame is under warranty as my bike is only a year old.
Gears slip & crunch. When riding bike is very unsteady & feels like wheels & frame will snap.
Looked at Halfords Apollo and Carrera range and decided to get this bike instead. You get a better spec for a better price. Great bike can’t fault it so far.
A very good bike for going off-road and on road. Replacement parts are reasonably cheap. Very happy with the bike.
I bought this more than a year ago and I used it every single day for at least 2 hours, so I think I have enough experience with it. I just started replacing some components, which goes to show how good the build quality and the components are. I wouldn't ride this at Whistler Bike Park or down Mount Everest, but if you're looking for a commuter bike that looks menacing and cool, this is it. The suspension is actually not that bad and I've never bottomed it out, it's surprisingly stable on cobbled, bumpy roads even at high speed, my gearing got a little messed up after a couple of crashes but I can't say it was the bike's fault. Even after being hit by a car lightly, a year of usage, slipping on rainy roads, crashing, dropping the bike, it still runs like hell and it's super fun to ride. I'll probably be looking for another bike to visit parks with a better suspension and a more aggressive geometry, but I will never forget this one.
Bought this for my 11 year old son. He’s over the moon with it. I got it with the small size frame, fits him perfect. A great looking bike. Love the Matt colouring. Looks like an expensive bike. Great for the price.
