Sun protection and new interior finish

UPF 50+ component: blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA.
We have changed the interior finish, or coating. It is now clear for optimal protection on all colours. This new coating also makes it possible to use less energy during the production phase.

Behaviour when in the sun

Although this parasol provides protection from the sun, other factors such as reflections (from water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, and so on, must be taken into account. The use of this parasol does not exempt the user from following the relevant advice: wear a UV protection T-shirt, wear sunglasses, wear a hat or cap, regularly apply an appropriate sun cream, drink regularly, etc.

Resistance to wind

The Paruv 190 parasol is wind resistant up to 20 km/h.
To secure it in the sand, use a screw-in anchor, available to purchase separately.

Tilting umbrella with Tilt accessory sold separately.

All of our PARUV parasols can be inclined at 35° and 50° using the "Tilt incline paruv" accessory. This is sold separately and exclusively through Decathlon.
