    Why should you play padel with specific shoes?

    Padel is played on sand-filled artificial grass. This makes the court very slippery. Padel shoes have a sole with a specific shape so that players of all levels have the grip they need. They also provide lateral stability, foot support, and cushioning as they absorb impacts.

    Sole design: Herringbone sole

    This sole is also called wavy or clay court tread. You can recognize it by its wave design. This is the most popular sole among regular padel players due to its good traction and its ability to slide well on the court. It's also incredibly robust and perfect for playing on synthetic turf or sand.

    Midsole: Injected EVA

    This shoe offers the perfect balance of comfort, robustness and support thanks to its EVA injected foam midsole, which also ensures a dynamic response.

    Our research centre is based in Spain and is specialised in design and engineering. Its role is to identify users' needs and feed them back to our design centre in France. The prototypes are tested on padel courts by users who represent that particular need. Their robustness is then tested in the lab at our design centre.
