YOU ARE AN ADVANCED SURFER
You surf intensively, and it is your favourite sport. During your sessions, you paddle out to the line-up, duck-dive under the breaking waves if you are on a shortboard, or turtle-roll if you are on a longboard. You show dedication in powerful waves of more than one metre. Your swimsuit must stay in place for each of your movements, whatever the strength of the wave. We have designed a range for you that is suited to your intensive surfing and body shape.
ACTIVE AT THE BEACH!
Whether you be a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other water sports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.
BODY SHAPE
Fully suited to surfing and bodyboarding, the Carla bikini top provides plenty of coverage and the wide elastic under the bust gives it an excellent fit in even the largest waves. Your shoulders are free to move when paddling and we have added a back zip to make it easier to get on and off and gives it a surfing character. The padded cups are removable.
DECATHLON INNOVATION: A bikini top with hydrophobic cups!
The CARLA bikini top is fitted with fully hydrophobic cups that do not retain any water, thanks to their texture and the small holes. Our teams designed these cups to keep the swimsuit firmly in place in waves.
These cups form an attractive rounded shape and conceal the nipples when the swimsuit is wet. These detachable cups are designed for optimal drying.
WHAT ARE PADDED CUPS?
Shaped cups built in to the swimsuit top are flattering for your bust and sculpt your breasts into a rounded shape without having visible seams and avoiding irritation as opposed to cut and stitched foam pads. Olaian has kept you and your comfort in mind by favouring the use of padded cups in most of its models. The padded cups may be removable and, if so, they let you go up or down a half size.
STAYS IN PLACE IN THE WAVES
We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, south-west France. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.
FEEL GOOD IN OUR SWIMWEAR
Our work centres on helping women to feel good in our swimsuits. The bust is not flattened, the bottoms don’t dig in, and the level of coverage varies. Our mission is to ensure that every woman can find a swimming costume that suits her body, whatever her shape or size.
DRY SIZING AND WET SIZING
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, and you should feel supported. The elastane content in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

Is the size or style not suitable for you? would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.

This product has been tested in use in Hendaye and has been subjected to numerous laboratory tests to guarantee the quality of use for which it was designed: tests on the fabric’s stretch and stability, colour-fastness when subject to friction, washing, sea water, chlorinated water and exposure to light, and the product’s overall performance after several washes.
