| Why use boxing wraps? |
Boxing hand wraps are designed to hold your joints in place (metacarpals and wrists) as well as prevent irritation in areas that suffer repeated blows.
They also help absorb perspiration from your hands and extend the lifetime of your boxing gloves |
| HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR WRAPS |
For low-impact use such as for touch sparring, the 2.5 or 3 m wraps are more than sufficient; just make sure you wrap the key zones (thumb, metacarpus, and wrist).
For more intense use, such as sparring at full force, opt for the 4 or 4.5 m wraps. These thicker wraps provide much stronger support and better protection of the metacarpals. |
