How to put on elastic boxing wraps
To make your life easier, here is how to place your wraps on your hands. Use the ergonomic loop that adapts perfectly to the shape of your thumb. The right direction of the wrap goes along your thumb towards the back of the hand. Remember to check the other end of the wrap beforehand, to place it directly on the correct side.
How to choose the length of your boxing wraps
Elastic wraps from 2.5 to 3 m are made for smaller hands that require a single roll. They are most suitable for low-impact activities such as "touch sparring". The 4 m and 4.5 m models offer greater support and better metacarpal protection. They are ideal for more intensive boxing with higher-impact sparring.
Why use boxing wraps?
Elastic boxing wraps protect both your hands and your gloves. For your hands, they roll around your metacarpals and wrists to support them. This also limits rubbing on areas with repeated strikes. As for your gloves, wraps increase their life span by preventing damage from perspiration.
