| Why does a fleece keep you warm? |
Fleece with large plush loops called "brushed fleece", can trap air. The natural insulating power keeps body heat in. The additional benefit of this fleece: Its high collar keeps the neck warm. |
| How is warmth measured? |
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: On the fleece materials and with a thermal mannequin in a climate chamber. This test test in the mountain conditions that you can meet and validate our technology. The comfort of this jacket is between 7 and 10°C. |
| Why a breathable fleece? |
The fleece is equipped with a breathable component. It can effectively wick away perspiration while keeping you warm. This means you stay dry and comfortable even during intense exercise. |
| What is the fit of this fleece? |
This fleece jacket has a fitted cut without being too tight. For optimal protection from the cold, we recommend wearing a technical base layer underneath. It is worn under our windproof and waterproof jackets. Select your usual size. |
| Resistance tested? |
We test the durability of our fleeces to guarantee:
- resistance to abrasion from your backpack and arm movements to delay pilling;
- The durability of the seams;
- Durability after several washes;
- Preserving colours (washing, UV, sweat). |

| How to look after your fleece? |
To machine wash your fleece without damaging it, choose a 40° max programme. Put it inside out before putting it in the machine. Don't exceed a 1000 rpm spin speed to protect the fabric. Do not tumble dry. |
