TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
Sole grip
The grip of our soles is certified.
To be awarded the certification, the shoes must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip coefficient on different surfaces (smooth, rugged, dry, wet).
To approve these tests, we then have the quality of our soles evaluated in the field, in the mountains, by a panel of child testers.
Which size should I select?
For hiking, do not hesitate to buy one size larger than the usual size to guarantee excellent comfort on the descent and to avoid toes rubbing at the tip of the shoe. Tip: keep your toenails short, and before going downhill at any time, check that your laces are tight enough to stop your feet slipping down towards the front of the shoes.
Purchasing advice
Allow children to try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several styles and sizes if necessary. Check two comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying them on. Don't hesitate to allow then to walk around the store. Gradually start using you shoes during your first few hiking trips to break them in.
REMOVABLE INSOLE
Removable insole for faster drying. It can also be replaced by an orthopaedic insole.

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are beautiful, simple and technologically advanced. These are then tested in the field as we believe that the only way to continually improve our products is to test them under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
