Design
Our product designers, themselves football players, created the Urban backpack with flap for sports users who need to get around town (public transport, bike, bus, subway, etc.). It's a cleverly designed bag with multiple compartments, including a separate one for small personal items. You'll love its trendy look, comfortable fit, and straps that can be adjusted to your build.
Inside the Urban 25L Backpack
This bag includes 6 pockets that allow you to separate your sports gear from your work necessities: one pocket for your boots (smaller than size 10½), one for clothing, one for accessories, one for a computer, one for your personal belongings and one for a water bottle
A handy bag
When designing this product we wanted to keep the pockets that protect your personal items cleverly hidden, particularly when using public transport.
Carry-on luggage.
This bag complies with the IATA standards and can be used as a carry-on bag when travelling by plane. We nevertheless recommend checking with your airline regarding their current size and weight restrictions.
Laboratory tests
This backpack has undergone numerous tests: water repellency, carrying resistance, abrasion and colour fastness. These tests are conducted by different laboratories to check that our quality requirements are met throughout the design process.

Test product
At Decathlon, the durability of our products is very important to us. This is why we conduct a host of field tests to ensure our products are well suited for their intended use, along with many lab tests to ensure our products hold up well over time. Among these, a jerk test tests the product's resistance to weight (repeated up to 10,000 cycles), traction test tests the durability of the fabric itself and the assembly.
