SAFETY INFORMATION AND STANDARDS
All our walking and running treadmills comply with standard: N 957-6: 2014.
That is why they contain:
- a belt measuring at least 1200x400mm for treadmills with speeds between 8 km/h and 16 km/h.
- a belt measuring at least 1300x400mm for treadmills with speeds greater than 16 km/h.
- a front and side support bar
- a step at least 8 cm wide
- an emergency stop activated by a safety key that stops the treadmill.

Our W500 and W900 treadmills are equipped with our new innovative cushioning concept: "Comfort Walk". The treadmill surface is covered with a 9mm layer of high-density foam for enhanced comfort when the foot lands.
This innovation reduces impacts and noise while improving the heel-to-toe transition for walkers.

The tool-free folding arms mean that it is particularly compact at just 27 cm high once folded.
Its compact design and wheels at the front make it easy to store so can you have more room for your everyday life.
The Smart Console
The Domyos W500 treadmill has an intuitive console with a back-lit LCD screen.
A central screen displays the essential information you need: time, speed, distance, estimated calories burnt, and number of steps taken during your session.
The centre button lets you switch to "goal mode" to set a goal for each workout.
You can use the + and - buttons to adjust the speed from 0.5 to 8 km/h (0.1 km/h increments).
DURABLE MOTOR AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
We test the endurance of our motors and electronic parts for at least 600 hours - 25 days non-stop - to make sure that they are reliable over time and that you will be using your product in the best conditions.
In particular, we check that the treadmill starts and stops gently, and that the walking deck moves fluidly so that your workout will be as comfy as possible.The W500 treadmill can be used up to 10 hours a week.
NOISE LEVEL
Silence is an essential criterion that we carefully consider when developing our products. We strive to reduce the noise our treadmills make so they are more enjoyable for both users and those around them.
The RUN500 treadmill has been measured at 62 dB at its maximum speed of 16 km/h.
SAFETY COMES FIRST AT DECATHLON!
All treadmills must have an emergency stop system to guarantee the user's safety.
We have fitted our treadmills with a safety key that can be attached to your clothing. If you fall off or move too far away from the console, the treadmill will stop automatically so that you don't risk injury.
